LESSON PROGRAM INFO

Lessons are offered for ages 12 and up - $40

An average of 45 minutes - 1 hour from arrival to departure. We start each lesson with a 10 minute grooming and tacking session. Students will learn how to properly groom and tack their lesson horse. The eventual goal is independent preparation for riding dependent on ability. The riding portion of the lesson runs approximately 30 minutes. Each lesson ends with a 5-10 minute untacking, grooming, and reflection discussion.

Proper footwear is required for ALL entering the barn. Spectators should wear closed toe shoes at all times. Helmets are required for all students and will be provided by Radiant Stables as needed. Riding footwear: While paddock boots or other riding boots are the best option, the only true requirement is something solid and secure with a bit of a heel. Hiking type or similar boots are a great option for those just starting out. Snow boots are permitted for cold winter riding. Riding attire: Pants or leggings and a well fitting top (baggy clothes have the potential to catch on tack). Jackets, coats and sweatshirts are permitted as needed.
